The doll keeper

So quiet and so precious in the room that was like a childs toybox and mind...
Filled with lace and lovely smells like baby milk, oh the treasures we can find...

A queen sized bed so soft and wide, pleasant to the touch and a deep sleep...
The table with lots of trinkets such as perfume, combs, mirrors, material things that we would keep...

He was pretty and delicate with long ribbons and silk like clothes that fit snug...
Gentle fingers with his dolls he loved them so, more than anything, the only thing he would hug...

It's a shame their is such bad things in this world that he did not understand...
He was scared and frightened of what he saw outside so innocent and sad for a full grown boy or man...

One by one he would pick out the eyes of his beloved dolls so they could not see...
No harm would come to them he thought if they were blind and would not be affected like me...

He still stays in that big empty rose scented room taking care of his children...
Maybe when the world will become sweet and not bitter we will again see him...
